01/Our story

Monark Management was founded in Columbus, Ohio in 2018 to serve the federal government.

We focus on the infrastructure agencies cannot afford to get wrong: the data centers, technology and facilities that keep missions running. Our leadership brings experience from hyperscale data center programs and large enterprise technology initiatives to every federal engagement.

Our mission is simple: deliver mission-critical infrastructure with precision, reliability and accountability, and build partnerships that last.

Kyanna Wilmer, MBA

Chief Executive Officer

Kyanna Wilmer founded Monark Management in 2018 and leads the Columbus, Ohio-based federal contracting firm, which specializes in data center construction, IT and facilities services. Federal agencies trust Monark to execute mission-critical infrastructure projects with precision, reliability and accountability.

Kyanna brings more than 15 years of experience leading enterprise technology and organizational initiatives, including an $18 million data restructure and a deployment of more than 25,000 devices. She brings disciplined execution to every project the company takes on, and builds partnerships that last. She holds an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.

Chief Operating Officer

Charles Mitchell is Chief Operating Officer of Monark Management. Across roles at Google, Amazon Web Services and Meta, he has led the teams that delivered, supported and developed more than 3 GW of data center capacity. He brings over 19 years of cross-industry experience driving large-scale capital initiatives, spanning hyperscale data center development, manufacturing and engineering consulting, with command of the full delivery lifecycle: project management, supply chain, design and engineering, construction and facilities operations.

At Google he most recently led Third-Party Datacenter Development, after roles in Global Strategic Estimating and Build Cost Reduction and in Global Supply Chain Risk and Project Controls. Before Google he was Regional Manager, Construction at Amazon Web Services, managing data center construction sites across Ohio and Canada. Before that he was Mechanical Engineering Manager at Meta in New Albany, Ohio. Earlier in his career he held roles at Abbott and KBR, delivering capital projects across the automotive, food and chemical sectors.

He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of North Dakota.
